Lovely Book of Heartfelt Poetry
5 out of 5 stars
I think it's nice to wind down or inspire the day with reading some poetry and Richelle's Heart Made of Tissue Paper has been a treat. I find the themes and messages to be relatable and modern, and charged with just the right amount of poetic flourish. I didn't get lost in strenuously cryptic or vague sentences. The poetry reminds us how delicate and yet resilient the human heart is.

Emotional Poems

A series of poems about emotions that I suspect all of us have experience at some time in our lives. I especially enjoyed the simplicity of each poem, the book allows you to read and let each poem speak to your heart.

Relationships? Hard work! Richelle E. Goodrich clearly understands this! This poetry, unless my perception is way off, is presented from both female and male perspectives. It’s impossible not to recognize everyone you’ve ever known in this poetry, including yourself!Lest I was unclear, this was great writing! This is going to my daughter, who loves and writes poetry, next. She’s going to love it!

Everyday Poems for Everyone!
4 out of 5 stars
I rarely read poetry but I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The poems are not long and encompass a wide variety of topics on just about anything you can think of. You can read the book in one sitting or read just a few pages if you wish. This poetry book includes sections on "love, laughter, and living." My favorite poem in this book is called "A Mother's Love." I think she described what most mothers feel for their children.I recommend this book. I think it is easy to read and is good at describing what many people experience in their day to day lives.
