About Author, R.E.Goodrich
Richelle E. Goodrich: Author, poet, and philosopher who finds solace in daily conversations with God, cherishes the magic of storytelling, and believes in the enduring power of love and gratitude. This American writer has been sharing motivational quotes, book giveaways, and festive haikus, spreading cheer and inspiration for over a decade. Social media followers frequently share and appreciate her insightful adages on gratitude, happiness, and human connection, notably echoing her wisdom.
Richelle is a creator of worlds where shadows stir with ancient secrets and destiny is written in the stars. Her stories draw readers into lands plagued by harrowing curses, inside kingdoms that rise and fall, and where the smallest act of courage alters the course of fate. With lyrical prose and a vivid imagination, she crafts sweeping tales that balance the darkness of peril with the light of hope, inviting readers to journey beyond the veil of the ordinary into the extraordinary. Fascinated by powers of myth and a timeless struggle between good and evil, Richelle weaves stories meant to explore the strength of the human spirit amid trials both magical and mortal. Her characters are flawed yet fierce, bound by prophecy, driven by love, and tested by forces far older and more dangerous than themselves. Through the eyes of her beloved characters, she explores the cost of power, the depth of sacrifice, and the enduring belief that even in the bleakest night, a single act of kindness can change everything.
Richelle graduated from Eastern Washington University with bachelor's degrees in liberal studies and natural science / mathematics education. She grew up in the Pacific Northwest but now calls Tennessee home where she and her husband enjoy a fabulous view of the Smoky Mountains. She sketches, paints, plays some piano and guitar, has acted in theatrical plays, composes original stories and poetry, sends out a periodic author newsletter, and keeps a running blogsite.
Direct quotes from Richelle's books have been published in numerous places including the Oxford: Philosophy, Being Human course book, in eight separate Chicken Soup for the Soul books, in a Revlon magazine ad campaign, on several online quote websites, and on a television episode of Alone (season 7 episode 3). Richelle loves growing as an author, and she writes new material whenever opportunity presents itself. Her current written works include:
The following quote is a glimpse into the heart of R.E.Goodrich:
“I like bubbles in everything. I respect the power of silence. In cold or warm weather, I favor a mug of hot cocoa. I admire cats—their autonomy, grace, and mystery. I awe at the fiery colors in a sunset. I believe in deity. I hear most often with my eyes, and I will trust a facial expression before any accompanying comment. I invent rules, words, adventures, and imaginary friends. I pretend something wonderful every day. I will never quit pretending.”
I am currently reading the following books:
Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert
Wish You Well by David Baldacci
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
I recently finished reading: You Are Enough by Lucy Giles
My Review:
This is an impactful, rhyming children's book with an uplifting message we all need to hear. Self-esteem and self-worth can be so fragile as we grow and develop ideas about ourselves and others. The message Lucy Giles delivers here reminds us that we all have value, individual worth, and a place in this world that matters. This is a wonderful book to share with young readers.

Fantasy-Scifi & Romance Series
Dive into the world of Moccobatra where a young queen rules the land of Harrowbeth but is pulled in different directions while trying to decide whose outlandish tales of heroism to believe.
After an unplanned trip to the doctor’s office, Sevenah Williams discovers that her ancestry is not exactly human. This shocking news puts her on a course to find out the truth about her birth parents and a tragic past that placed her in hiding as a toddler.
Eventually, she takes on her birth name―Eena―and accepts her birthright as the only living heir to the throne of Harrowbeth. But this privilege comes with a price. She learns this during the painful process of physically joining with an heirloom necklace known as the dragon’s soul. From that point on, Queen Eena slowly uncovers powers granted her by the necklace, giving her the ability to manipulate energy—a gift that comes in handy when she faces enemies who wish to see her royal line eliminated.
Eena must fight alongside new friends including Derian, the captain of the Kemeniroc; Kira, a Mishmorat with might and spunk; Shanks and his crew of giant Viiduns; and Ian, her best friend and sworn protector. Her greatest challenges, however, turn out to be personal: learning to love, to trust, and to handle adult problems when she simply longs to remain a normal teenager.
