Highly Recommended
From the gloriously beautiful cover to the opening scenes of battle and all the way through pages filled with mythical beasts, haunted creatures, bespelled objects, curses, magic and mayhem, this book reads like a classic fairy tale of old. I couldn't get over the feeling of wonder I felt losing myself within the pages of this unique and compelling story. As our heroine succumbs to the hideous effects of a foul curse over and over again, your heart will be racing along with her to find a way to overcome and finally defeat the many foes arrayed against her. This was such a fabulous take on many of the ancient legends we're all familiar with and it breathes new life into them while still retaining a sense of timelessness. The author's creativity shows a scope of imagination that is breathtaking while still honoring the classics. A Magical World
I recently finished reading The Tarishe Curse by Richelle E. Goodrich, and I have to say, it was quite the enchanting experience. The story crafts a vivid world filled with magic and intrigue, focusing on a young protagonist who finds herself entangled in a mysterious curse that has plagued her village. What I loved most about the book was the depth of the characters. Goodrich does a fantastic job of bringing them to life, making you genuinely care about their journeys. The protagonist’s struggle against her fate is relatable, and her growth throughout the narrative feels natural and compelling. I found myself rooting for her every step of the way. The pacing of the story kept me engaged, with just the right mix of suspense and revelation. Relationships? Hard work! Richelle E. Goodrich clearly understands this! This poetry, unless my perception is way off, is presented from both female and male perspectives. It’s impossible not to recognize everyone you’ve ever known in this poetry, including yourself! Lest I was unclear, this was great writing! Feel All the Feels
I LOVED this novel!! It kept me utterly captivated the entire time I was reading it. I could hardly put the book down, and read well into the night on more than one occasion. It is unpredictable and full of surprises waiting with every turn of the page. It is a story full of betrayal and loyalty, friendship and love, and a sense of discovering ones self. Though it is a fantasy book full of common elements, such as dragons and magic and battles, this book possesses its own uniqueness that makes it unlike any other book I have read. The author is a skilled writer with a masterful handle on literary elements that help suck you into the story and become hopelessly attached to the characters within. The novel ended, leaving me with even more questions that what I began with and with a strong urge to immediately get my hands on the second book so I can continue this adventure. Great Fairy Tale
I found myself pulled into the story and thinking of Annabelle and her mother even when I wasn’t reading. I feel the author took the reader on a journey through some of the saddest, darkest paths that so many innocent souls must walk, and also illustrated how much even the smallest acts of kindness can lift the aching heart. I think that’s what a good story does. It takes hold of you through your imagination and emotions and leaves you pondering about it, feeling what the characters feel. A Wonderful Book
Dandelions: The Disappearance of Annabelle Fancher by Richelle E. Goodrich is a wonderful story about a girl who escapes a terrible home life by creating a magical world in her dreams. Great Fairy Tale
I absolutely loved this book. I loved it when I saw the cover. The rest of it did not disappoint! This book, unlike some of Richelle Goodrich's other books, is more geared to a younger audience. It is a new fairytale, with a few other fairytales intertwined. There are fun illustrations at the beginning of each chapter. There is mystery and intrigue throughout the book. Good for all ages.
